Bill Hager Recieves Key Dual Endorsements from Firefighters

State and Local Firefighters Get Behind Hager

Bill Hager, candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, has been endorsed by the Boca Raton Firefighters and Paramedics and the Florida Professional Firefighters Association.

Hager, who served seven years as a Boca Raton City Councilman, is running for Florida House District 87 currently held by Rep. Adam Hasner, who is term limited next year. District 87 includes the coastal communities of Southern Palm Beach County and Northern Broward County.

"Our firefighters and paramedics are on the front lines of public safety and are some of the best trained in the country" said Hager. "I greatly appreciate their commitment and service to our community. I am both proud and humbled by their early support of my campaign."

"While serving on the Boca Raton City Council, Bill Hager was a staunch supporter of fire rescue and emergency medical services, and made public safety a top priority," stated John Luca, President Firefighters and Paramedics of Boca Raton, Local 1560. "We are proud to endorse him."

"Bill Hager has demonstrated his commitment to our community, is a conscientious public servant, and will be a great addition to the Florida legislature," said Battalion Chief Ron Beesley, Legislative Director of the Florida Professional Firefighters. "As a state legislator Mr. Hager will have an even greater impact on pubic safety."

Hager is best known for being a fiscal conservative, supporting ethics reforms and sponsoring ordinances to keep registered sex offenders away from schools and other public safety initiatives
